Kenya has 10 million smartphone users, according to Global Market Statistics. All of these users charge their gadgets and transmit data using a USB cord. The market has been flooded with fake USB cables that do not meet the criteria due to the large number of users of the cables.

As a result, every smartphone owner has two or three broken USB cables in their houses. The majority of the issues are related to breakage at the end point owing to folding tension and internal wire breakage.
